Zolotoe Koltso of Russia
Towns of Zolotoe koltso is a vivid encyclopedia of Russian ancient architecture. Wonderful landscapes turned out not less exciting sight. Vladimir
The Vladimir region is part of the Central federal district, situated in the centre of european part of Russia. It occupies an area of equal 29000 km2. On west and south-west Vladimir boarder upon Moscow region, on north – Yaroslav and Ivanov regions, on south upon Ryazan, on east and south – east Nizhnii Novgorod. At this moment the region has a developed net of cars and railroads industries. In particular, the territory of the region are crossed by three main trunk – railways: Moscow – Nizhnii Novgorod, Moscow – Yaroslavl, Moscow – Kazan.

Jaroslavl
The Spaso-Preobrazhenskiy Cloister is the best start for touring Yaroslavl. Its history dates back to the 12th century. It was built with the sole purpose of defending Yaroslavl frontiers and ways to the Kremlin and suburbs. In the meantime, thanks to the enlightening activities of ruling princes Vsevolod Big Nest and his son Konstantin, the first northern-eastern school was opened in the monastery which was instrumental for enlarging of the collection of Slavic and Greek manuscripts that eventually became enormous in size.

Zolotoe Koltso
Each town of Zolotoe koltso has several monasteries in and around it. It created special structure of a town, it seemed, constituted of wide and spacious part and joined, surrounded by walls monasteries. In Suzdal, for example, the whole substance of the town is saturated with ensembles of monasteries. For Russian architecture of the beginning of XVIII century was difficult time. After return of Peter I in Russia from abroad houses were built in a new fashion, but in remote places they were built as of old.

Kostroma sights
The mention of this town dates to 1152 year. At that time, on the bank of Sula river appeared a stronghold of Kostroma, had erected by Jury Dolgoruky. The scientists suppose that the name of the town appeared from «Kostor» that mean « any fortified place, stronghold». According to another version, the name of the town is the old pagan Slavonic word, which is mean a holiday celebrated in Summer in ritual games time in honour of God of Sun Yarila.

Sergiev - Posad
This town is placed at a distance of 70 km to north – east from Moscow.
First of all, Sergiev – Posad is considered a cloister town, as it is situated on Svyato – Troize – Sergiev laurel. Let's mention, that laurel is a residence of patriarchy. That's why tourists, coming to this place should keep determine rules. By instance, to enter on the territory of cloister is prohibited in that way, if tourists are clothed in T-shirts, shorts, mini – skirts. Besides, women should cover their heads with shawl, which they can buy right there.

Pereslavl – Zalessky sights
The name of the town was taken by Juriy Dolgoruky from Kiev lands. It is known, that there was a town not far from Kiev with the same name since 907 year. This town was located near the river Trubezh. According to one version, tsar made people resettle of Kiev Pereslavl to Zalesje. Another version told, that the town was placed on the territory of modern Ryazan and called as Pereslavl – Erzyansky. At that places, according to this version flowed the river Trubezh.

Kolomna Sights
The town Kolomna is situated at the confluence of the Oka and Moscow river, and placed on the south – east territory of Moscow region. Now Kolomna is not large industrial town, being the center of Near Moscow. On its territory are produced Diesel engine, Diesel – generator, main diesel locomotives, prefabricated ferroconcrete elements, cement and metal – cutting machines.

Ribinsk sights
The town Ribinsk is famous since XII century. Later there were living the fishermen. By XVI century Ribinsk village became one of the largest on the Volgs trade – transport centres of Russia and important trans – shipment point for cargos, coming from lower course of the Volga to St. Petersburg. In 1777 year Ribinsk village got a status of town. The emblem of the town was determined a coat of arms on the upper part of it, was imaged a bear, as a symbol of Yaroslavl province, on the down – was the fish against a blue background and two stairs.
